Job Description:

As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers who require assistance with exchanging currencies at our in-store location in the Melbourne CBD. You must be knowledgeable about different currencies, exchange rates and money practices around the world, as well as providing accurate information and advice to our customers. As the face of the company, it will be important to embody the company values and maintain a welcoming, friendly, and professional attitude with each and every customer. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with currency exchange transactions and provide advice on different currencies, exchange rates and money practices around the world
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests through various channels including phone, in-store, email and social media 
  • Ensure that customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, and that any issues or discrepancies are resolved promptly
  • Follow guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards


Desired Experience and Qualities:
  • Passionate about travel and foreign currencies
  • Excellent communication with Business English 
  • Multilingual (Mandarin Chinese is an advantage)
  • Retail, customer service or banking experience
  • Keen eye for detail, especially with numbers
